Orie L. Loucks, M.Sc.F., Ph.D., President
Dr. Loucks leads business planning at ICValue, Inc.
and sets the standards for environmental performance
scoring, reviewing all reports for editorial content
and quality assurance. Previously Dr. Loucks was an
Ohio Eminent Scholar in Applied Ecosystem Studies and
Professor of Botany and Zoology, Miami University. He
started as a Professor of Botany, University of Wisconsin,
in 1962 and became Director of the Institute of Ecology
and the Holcomb Research Institute, Butler University,
Indianapolis, in 1978, working on global carbon sequestration
and air pollutant effects. Dr. Loucks is the author
or co-author of five books and some 200 peer-reviewed
papers and book chapters. He worked 14 years at Miami
University seeking interdisciplinary principles of sustainable
development. He served on the National Academy of Sciences
Board on Water Science and Technology in the 1980's,
and for ten years as a member of the national Board
of Governors of The Nature Conservancy.
